FIRST MEDIA DESIGN SCHOOL
First Media Design School (FMDS) offers a diverse and comprehensive range of design and design management programmes. Headquartered in Singapore, FMDS is a wholly owned subsidiary of First Media Group, Singapore’s largest local design communication group with more than 20 design studios in Singapore and the regional markets. FMDS conducts courses in graphic design, multimedia, fashion design & merchandising and design management programmes at Advanced Diploma levels.
Students who graduate from FMDS could also pursue further studies overseas or in Singapore with our collaborating universities through the articulation pathway. They are Royal Melbourne Institite of Technology (RMIT) and Queensland University of Technology, Australia.
FMDS is also the first private design school in Singapore to have attained the much coveted 4-Year EduTrust which recognises the schools’ management commitment and responsibilities, corporate governance and administration, external recruitment agents, student protect and support services, academic processes and assessment of students, quality assurance, monitoring and results.It is a registered school with the Council for Private Education in Singapore.

Programmes offered in FMDS are tailored to give students a broad-based designing knowledge, including advertising, branding, visual identity, packaging, multimedia, fashion design, management and entrepreneurship studies. It aims to arouse and develop thinking and research skills to help students produce innovative and effective communication solutions through a strong understanding of various communication channels.
FMDS is the only design school in Asia to offer design management (Module 6, one of the modules in the curriculum) to enhance our students with an acute understanding of design business management concepts and strategies that are commonly applied in the design industry.
